Experience:


Mr. Ziegler worked for over 35 years in San Francisco with prominent law firms, both as managing partner and as section leader before moving his practice to Sausalito in 2003.

He has extensive experience in real estate acquisition, development, financing and operation. He has handled major litigation while representing clients with issues ranging from the California public trust doctrine to vested rights to disclosure issues. He continues to represent holders of significant real estate projects and investors in LLCs and partnerships which operate commercial, residential, office and industrial properties. He advises clients regarding leasing, sales, hazardous waste, government regulation and permit issues. He has extensive experience in waterfront development and sensitive land-use projects and appears frequently before various commissions and boards in connection with the land-use approval process.
